Here at Grasslands Outfitters, we offer more than just a hunt. Our hunts are packed not only with action, but with an opportunity to learn the importance of our resources, and why we need to respect and preserve them. Whether you've been hunting your whole life, or you are just getting your foot in the door, we have a hunt for you. We run private land hunts for prairie dogs, coyotes, and waterfowl, with a minimum of two hunters.

Our prairie dog hunts give the opportunity to help save thousands of acres of farm land and grasslands from being destroyed. Not only that, but prairie dogs carry deseases, and their homes can seriously injure farm animals like cows and horses. Without intervention, the towns will just keep getting bigger, and more, unrepairable damage will be done to the land. Our hunts will give you a great chance to hone your rifle skills, so just bring your hunting license, favorite rifle, and lots of ammo. Seriously, lots of ammo! Hunts are 6-7 hours long, once we get to the property.

Our coyote hunts are typically run as full day hunts, and our most productive times are late fall through early spring. We will focus on learning how to hunt coyotes, what to look for in the land while hunting, what calls to use, and learn how the weather impacts coyotes and where and how we hunt them. Again, just bring your favorite rifle, a box or two of ammo, and we will have a good time!

Finally, our waterfowl hunts are run from early teal season, through the end of conservation season.* Rain, snow, or shine, we can make it happen. We hunt along the Arkansas corridor, here in southern Colorado, and our hunts are run on dry fields, farm ponds, and wetlands. Because of this, no experience is the same, and every hunt is unique. Bring your shotgun, a box of shells, and we will do the rest!
